How to Measure
Shoulder
Measure straight across from one shoulder seam to the other.
SleevesMeasure from the shoulder seam down to the sleeve hem.
Front LengthMeasured from the shoulder down to the front hem of the bodice.
Back LengthMeasured from the shoulder down to the back hem of the bodice — longer to accommodate the back cowl drape.
WaistMeasure around the narrowest part of your natural waist.
HipsMeasure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" below the waist.
Skirt LengthMeasured from the waistband down to the hem of the skirt.
Fit Tips for This Style
- The mermaid-like silhouette is designed to hug the body closely — size up if you prefer more ease through the hips
- The adjustable zip neckline allows you to control how deep the front cowl sits
- Both the front and back cowls add fabric drape — account for this when assessing fit through the torso
- Hips are the most critical measurement for the skirt portion of this gown
- The back bodice runs 5–6" longer than the front to support the back cowl construction
